The Sovereign Hand That Wipes the Tear

2. The Absolute Abolition of Decay
John declares that "the former things are passed away." The reign of death, pain, and sorrow is not merely subdued; it is utterly dismantled. The agonies that twist our hearts in this earthly wilderness are temporary shadows. The reality that awaits us is an enduring dawn where the very capacity for weeping is swallowed up in eternal life.

Therefore, beloved, let us not faint under the weight of our current afflictions. Hold fast to this blessed hope. Let the certainty of your future rest sustain your present weariness, knowing that every sorrow you endure today is but a fading prelude to His everlasting joy.
